The 5th Sam Robb Memorial Golf Tournament, October 9, 2011

We are looking forward to a great day on Sunday October 9th for our 5th Annual Sam Robb Memorial Golf Tournament. We are returning to the Legacy on Lanier Golf Club at Lake Lanier Island Resort. The day includes golf on a spectacular course, coffee, continental breakfast, boxed lunch, complimentary beer/refreshments, light reception afterwards to award prizes and raffle winners.
New this year, an afternoon Wine Tasting sponsored by Hinton’s Wine Store from 3:00 to -5:00 pm. $20 per person.

2nd Annual Sam Robb Memorial Beach 5K Run and One Mile Fun Run
Tuesday, February 8th, 2011
Thank you for your support of our Beach 5K Fun Run which raised over $3,500 for the Sam Robb Fund. Despite rescheduling due to severe weather on Friday evening, we had a perfect day for the run on Sunday evening.
We appreciate the participation of our sponsors, runner, volunteers and friends. Please save the date for next year, Friday July 6, 2012 at 6:00 pm with a rain date for Saturday morning, July 7, 2012.

The 4th Annual Sam Robb Memorial Golf Tournament

It was a perfect day with 110 golfers plus friends visiting. Sam was smiling down upon us to see so many friends come together to fight childhood cancer. Sam’s favorite pastime was to be with friends. The weather was perfect for golf on a wonderful golf course, Legacy on Lanier Golf Club A special thanks to our friends that organized this event, the Richey Family, the Moye Family, Missy Burgess and our sponsors.
We are happy to say that we raised over $10,000 at the golf tournament and along with our efforts in September, Kids Conquer Cancer, since the inception of the Sam Robb Fund, our total funds raised exceeds $200,000. We will never be able to replace the void Sam left in our lives, but our family takes comfort in continuing the fight against childhood cancer. The Sam Robb Fund supports the training of a pediatric oncologist through the research fellowship program.
